After seeing (and very badly wanting) some great new bits for the summer by Franklin and Marshall, featured in the May issue of Cosmopolitan (did I mention Lady Gaga was gracing the front cover?!) I thought I would have a perusal on the Davicore website and the recent Franklin and Marshall boys must-haves, including hoodies, polo tops and even a beach towel perfect for your summer holiday! More about that later…..

Anyway, back to the girlie bits featured in Cosmo, some fab yellow cotton shorts, (I have a bit of an obsession with yellow at the moment) £42, also available in purple, grey and navy blue, and as a long pant.

I really want a pair of these for Mexico, although I have bought three new pairs of summer shoes for Mexico already. But these are kind of a must-have (see previous post on Havaianas.) Not to mention the official website is super cool, check it out at http://www.havaianas.com/

Getting a bit side tracked here! Back to the original topic, Franklin & Marshall, I particularly like these dark grey cut off shorts, perfect for lazy days, trips to the beach and sessions at the gym. Also available at Davicore in Vivienne Westwood style tartan print, or as a long jogger in lighter grey or navy.

I also have a bit of an obsession with hoodies at the moment after my sister bought a gorgeous yellow one by Henleys, some particular favourites by Franklin & Marshall include this one in grey with ribbed cuffs and large pocket detailing to the front, and this one in blue, 1988 hoodie. You can never have too may hoodies, especially if you invest in a couple of really good ones.

Only eight weeks to go until I shall be back in beautiful Mexico! Can’t wait! So, for all of you who have booked your holidays for a much needed break in the Sunshine, or for those just looking ahead to Spring, let’s have a look for some perfect new clothes for the heat of the summer sunshine. Hello summer…….
With Christmas well and truly over, and those New Year’s resolutions forgotten in the midst of everything else 2010 has thrown at us so far, let’s start looking ahead to spring. Spring? Yes! At last, sunshine and light nights, and no more snow and ice! Time to plan a new wardrobe, shorts and t-shirts will be welcomed with opened arms, instead of having to wrap up for the arctic conditions.

Ok so maybe we are jumping ahead a bit too soon as it doesn’t turn from 5 degrees to 25 over night, but hey, it’s certainly going to be much warmer, which means we can start looking ahead to cramming our wardrobes full to the brim with the latest looks for the Spring season.

We are very pleased, and excited, that Davicore will be welcoming the brand ‘Lou Molloy’ on board as of next week. Lou Molloy is described as one of the world’s leading tattoo artists. He has designed tattoos for both Victoria and David Beckham, including David’s back tattoo depicting a winged, angelic figure.

Molloy started tattooing in the 1970’s and opened his own tattoo shop at just 18 years of age, which in the following decade became a world class establishment. You may also know Louis Molloy from the very popular ‘London Ink’, tattoo studio and television series.

JLS, 2008 runners up from the X factor, have been spotted this week showing off their new Firetrap attire. Aston was pictured with a rather large black bag branded with the Firetrap name, bulging with a number of Firetrap goodies, whilst Marvin and JB were sporting the Firetrap slim fit tiger pant.

I was lucky enough to recently attend Birmingham Clothes Show, which runs every year the first week in December. Great place to get up to date style tips and pick up some bargains, I thought I would let you know the key pieces that I saw on the cat walk, from the front row seat, oh yes!

Mr trend setter himself and stylist to the stars Gok Wan teamed black skinny jeans with a black lightning logo t shirt, studded belt and leather jacket, whilst George Lamb looked the part in this rather fetching suit and white shirt. Fearne Cotton was also there looking very sexy indeed.

To get their style try new in, Jims Skull V-neck tshirt in black by Religion, (also available in white) wear with Two Stoned Hooded Vintage Leather Brown Jacket and Mish Mash Jeans Soot Raw Denim Striaght Jean. Finish the look with a black leather studded belt and Henri Lloyd Lace Up Dunham Shoe.

For a smarter look like George Lamb accessorise your suit with this white shirt by Fly 53 and Base London Cause Lace Up BrownShoe.

New boy band Vice also performed at the cat walk show and wore black and red trainers with dark jeans, and presented a layered look achieved by wearing shirts, hooded tops and buttoned jackets.
